Learn more about a Psoriasis Research Study
Psoriasis is a skin condition which causes dry and itchy raised regions of skin, most commonly on the knees, elbows, and scalp. For people genetically predisposed to Psoriasis, common triggers for the condition include cuts, burns and infections. While the cause of Plaque Psoriasis isn’t fully understood it is thought to be caused when infection fighting cells within the body mistakenly attack healthy skin cells.
